Warranty Limitations (Valid Within Japan Only)
■Warranty Period:
Products purchased on or after February 1, 2017 include a 2-year limited warranty.
※Products purchased before January 31, 2017 include a 1-year limited warranty.
If your instrument develops a defect caused by a manufacturing issue under normal use (as described in the owner’s manual or product labels) within the warranty period, Fender Musical Instruments Corporation Japan will repair the product free of charge.
For warranty service, please contact Fender Musical Instruments Corp. Japan by email or reach out to the dealer where the product was purchased.
The limited warranty does NOT cover:
Missing warranty card or proof of purchase.
Missing, altered, or incorrect information on the warranty card
(model name, purchase date, dealer name, etc.).Damage caused by misuse, mishandling, improper operation, interference from other equipment, unauthorized repair, or modification.
Damage caused by fire, earthquakes, flooding, lightning, other natural disasters, pollution, or abnormal voltage.
Natural changes in wood or finish due to temperature, humidity, or environmental factors.
Wear or damage to accessories such as hard cases, soft cases, or cardboard cover boxes.
Cracks, breaks, or structural damage to the neck or cabinet.
Any damage caused during transportation, moving, or accidental drops after purchase.
Consumable parts including frets, nuts, bridge saddles, strings, and batteries.
Natural variation in wood grain, color, or finish that falls within normal product specifications and standards.
Used products purchased second-hand.
Parallel imports or products not purchased through an authorized Fender dealer.
Subjective issues such as tonal preference.
Issues resulting from string height/action set below Fender’s recommended specifications.

Fender is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages resulting from product failure or its use.
Shipping costs for warranty repairs are the responsibility of the customer.
Warranty cards cannot be reissued—please store yours safely.
